Introduction

 

I am an Assistant Professor of Spanish and the Coordinator of Elementary Spanish at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO. I am also Doctoral Candidate in Spanish Linguistics at the University at Albany in Albany, NY.  My research interests are in Second-language acquisition, Sociolinguistics and Heritage linguistics, and the connections between these fields.  I currently teach upper level undergraduate and graduate courses at Colorado State. When not engaged in academic pursuits I enjoy skiing, hiking, sewing and being involved in my community.
